$10,000 REWARD
A $10,000 reward has been put up for any information that will lead to the capture of Cleo Burdette's killer.
Back in August 2004, the 78-year-old's battered body was found on the couch of his Sissonville, WV, home but cops are refusing to reveal anymore details about the baffling case.
Deputies did however find broken windows, a disabled phone line and  someone had clearly ransacked the cattle trader's home.
Lt. Sean Snuffer with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s office said: “We feel that it could have been a robbery that could have gone bad.”
“Investigators have shown that Burdette did have quite a substantial amount of money.”

Snuffer also confirmed that they are still trying to figure out who was driving a car witness saw near the house on the night before the crime.
Snuffer added: "We had several witnesses in the area who were just happening to be driving by Mr. Burdette's residence.
"They indicated that a red- or orange-colored Toyota truck was parked near the residence."
Burdette’s younger brother, Jim Burdette, said he kept in touch with his family every day and spoke to his brother the night before he died, and his sister found Cleo Burdette’s body.
He told The State Journal: “It took place after 9:30, because he always called my sister back after he talked to me."

A $10,000 reward is still being offered to find the person responsible for Burdette's murder. Anyone with information about the case is asked to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
