MARY 'PAT' O'HAGAN MURDER: TERROR IN VERMONT

jilla | 4:00 AM | | | |
THE murder of grandmother Mary "Pat" O'Hagan has mystified cops in Vermont for more than a year and created a climate of fear.
Pal Bev Frost said: "You wonder whether whoever it is, is still out there -- who they are, what they're doing. You hear a creak in the house in the night, and you worry if somebody's coming in."
It has been one since O'Hagan vanished and police seem no further in capturing the cold-hearted killers. But they believe that there was more than one person involved in the heinous crime. Hunters found the kindly senior's body on Oct. 3 last year--about 10 miles from her home. While cops have ruled the death a homicide, they are keeping their cards close to their chests when it comes to the manner of death--and most other info. Investigators have said they believe
O'Hagan was abducted from her home but have not said what evidence led them to that conclusion. With O'Hagan's killer on the loose, police have not advised Vermonters to take any out-of-the-ordinary precautions. O'Hagan was a one woman action team, still camping, kayaking, volunteering and ruyg-hooking at her age.
