MO. COPS REOPEN KATIE SEEFELDT '02 DISAPPEARANCE

KATIE SEEFELDT was just 12 when she vanished from Jackson County, Missouri. Cops investigating at the time believed she had run away from home but now, nine years later a new effort is underway to find out what happened to her.
Her mom Sholly told a local TV station: "She was very outgoing and loving." But she added that her daughter was also pushing the boundaries."I wanted her not to be the wild child that I was, which she kind of resented me for that. In October
2002, Katie was grounded. They were living in a neighborhood near 18th Street and Highway 24 in Independence. Early one Sunday, about 1 a.m., the phone rang and Katie answered it."(She) said, 'You guys know I can't have phone calls this late, and if you continue to call me, my mom is going to keep me grounded longer,'" Sholly Seefeldt said. She said when she woke up the next morning, her daughter and a lot of her new clothes were gone. "I had a bad feeling in my gut," she said. "There was nothing really bad between us. That's why I'm having, that's where my hard time is."
In 2007, the Center for Missing and Exploited Children made an age-progression photo of Katie Seefeldt, showing what she might look like at 16. It generated no tips. Answers about Katie, now 21, remain elusive. They said they're reopening the cold case because nine years have passed. LEIGH ANN WILSON HAD THROAT SLASHED IN 1978

On November 2, 1978 at about 10 p.m., Leigh Ann Wilson, 36, left her Jefferson City, Missouri apartment to go to a nearby gas station. Wilson was seen at the gas station alone in her vehicle and never returned home. Later that night,  a witness reported seeing a grey 1970's vehicle, possibly a Pontiac, parked along the median with its flashers activated on U.S. 63 south of Highway 163. The witness saw a white male with dark hair and average build hitting Wilson. The next morning the victim’s body was located in a grassy area, just north of a roadside park. She had been murdered
with her throat slashed and stabbed in the back. Her car was later located in the parking lot of a grocery store in Jefferson City. It's believed she got in another person's car.

SICK TIMOTHY KRAJCIR SUSPECTED IN '82 PA. SEX SLAY

EVIL TIMOTHY Krajcir was Dexter before Dexter. Now in prison forever for a series of murders in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, he is being eyed for other killings around the country. One of them is the 1982 rape murder in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley. Barbara Solt, 27, was a popular phys. ed. teacher found dead Nov. 17, 1982 by her school principal. She had been stabbed a dozen times and raped. No signs of robbery. Neighbors heard nothing.
A search of sex fiends whose MO matched led them to Bad Timmy--then a 38-year-old Allentown man
recently busted on a trio of sex assault beefs. He had already been certified as sexually dangerous. But Bad Timmy denied knowing anything when questioned by detectives. His polygraph test bizarrely failed to register a reading of any kid. Fast forward 20 years: Krajcir would make a chilling confession to an investigator who had tracked him down through a DNA match that solved a 1982 murder case there. PREGNANT AMANDA JONES DISAPPEARED IN 2005

AMANDA JONES was nine months pregnant when she vanished in August 2005. For years, her anguished family was left without closure--until now. The Jefferson County Sheriff's have reopened the troubling case and are going over it inch by inch. Amanda vanished from the Hillsboro Civic Center and hasn't been seen since. She was nine months pregnant at the time. her body has not been found and there have been no arrests.
Her sister, Carrie Johnson said: "The hardest part on the anniversaries for me is not knowing and having to remember that horrible day she never came home."
Lt. Doc Coombs was hired in March to investigate cold cases. There are files and dozens of witness interviews, so Coombs starting from the beginning,
going over all of it looking for that elusive clue.
Jones car and purse were found at the Hillsboro Civic Center. Her family has rehashed the details thousands of times. Carrie Johnson said: "Before my parents leave this earth, I want them to know what happened to their daughter and their grandson."

THE FBI has announced a reward of $25,000 for information on the disappearance of 3-year-old Breeann Rodriguez. In addition to the FBI reward, the Senath Marshal's Office is offering a reward of up to $20,000, making the total reward up to $45,000. Breeann was last seen around noon Saturday near her home in Senath, Missouri. She was wearing a pink shirt, pink and purple pants and was riding a pink bicycle with training wheels.
