ON AUGUST 12, 1972 Vickie Lynn Harrell got into her car, a dark blue 1965 Plymouth Valiant 4 door at the K-Mart in Bloomington, Indiana. The next day she was reported missing. On Aug. 14, 1972 her body was discovered in Owen County east of Spencer. Her body was left naked and she had been strangled. After she died the monster carved two alpha characters on her chest. The single mom was 25, white and lived in Owen County. She has waited almost 40 years for justice.
