HITCHIKER THEORY IN 1975 RUPERT MURDER DISPUTED

CHARLES and Leslie Rupert were newlyweds, deeply in love and passionate about the rehabilitation of ex-convicts. And then, in a flash, their lives were mysteriously snuffed out in February 1975. The University of Arizona grad students were found shot execution-style in a drainage ditch. On Feb. 1, 1975, the couple were driving home after a banquet for the Seventh Step Foundation, an organization that helped ex-cons. The Ruperts left the banquet at 10:45 p.m. and a day later a passing motorist found their bodies.  Charles had been shot once in the side of the head and twice in the back with a .38-caliber revolver. Leslie was shot once behind the ear. Their car was found hours later--wiped clean of fingerprints except for what appeared to be the
letter "p" written on the rear window. Cops ruled out robbery. A gas-station attendant near where their sedan was found said he saw a stocky, brown-haired man in his mid- to late 20s pull the car into his station between 1:30 and 5 a.m. Cops believe the pair were murdered by hitchikers but there are a lot of other theories. MYRON TRAYLOR MISSING SINCE 1988; FOUL PLAY EYED

Myron Traylor, 13, vanished from Phoenix, Arizona, on July 28, 1988. He is 5’5", 106 lbs., black hair, brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a red and white striped shirt, white/blue print shorts, and white tennis shoes. He has a ½ inch scar on the right side of his head.
Cops say Myron and his mother were walking to his grandmother’s house a block from their hime. Myron and his mother separated as Myron stopped to get a drink at a fast food restaurant in the area of 16th Street and Southern. Myron has not been seen since and the case is considered a non-family abduction. Cops suspect his mom's ex-boyfriend--a drug player--at the time is responsible but have never been able to put together enough evidence. Myron's mother died in 2002.

AZ. COPS: ON VERGE OF CLOSING RANDY PARSCALE CASE

 BAFFLING DISAPPEARANCE may have new hope. Randy Parscale was 10 when he vanished while on a hiking trip with his grandfather and two brothers in Peppersauce Canyon in Arizona on April 7, 1979. Randy wandered ahead of the rest of the group and was never seen again. An extensive search was launched but there was no trace of the boy. However, Pinal County Sheriff's Office detectives believe they may be on the verge of solving the case--but they need the public's help.

But there are some disturbing clues. One of the searchers was able to follow the child's footsteps to a dirt road where they suddenly stopped--as if the boy
had gotten into a vehicle.
 In addition, in 1985 a woman reported that she had found a dollar bill with the chilling phrase: "I'm alive in Phoienix, Ariz. Please help me. Randy Parscale." His case is considered a non-family abduction.
Cops were tight-lipped about why the case may suddenly be on the verge of being closed.

COP HAUNTED BY 1998 DEBRA SUE MURRAY EXECUTION

June 26, 1998 – a day like any other when doting mom, Debra Sue Murray, left her Chandler, Arizona home on her way to work. Murray, a hard-working manager at a local Jack-in-the-Box restaurant, left at 4:30 that morning to get the restaurant ready for the busy day ahead. Murray however, would never make it to the restaurant.
Just as she closed the front door of her house, she was gunned down. Murray was shot several times in the chest, and died at the scene. Cathy Peterson – a nanny to Debra’s son called the cops when she heard the gunfire. When detectives arrived at the scene they found Murray lying in a pool of blood.
They also discovered that there were signs of forced entry and things taken from the garage. Investigators quickly established however that the forced entry was in fact a ruse – an attempt to make detectives believe that the
murder occurred during an interrupted burglary. Instead, detectives believe that Murray was the target of a deliberate and calculated hit. Chandler Police Detective Gary Fuller is still haunted by the case.
He said: "She didn't think this would be any different from any other day, but she walked out to be executed. And she left behind that young son." To date no arrests have been made in the case. An award is on offer for information leading to an arrest. Her son Tim is now 25.

STACY ARAGON '05 DISAPPEARANCE BAFFLING: COPS

It is now six years since Gilbert, Arizona mom Stacy Ann Aragon vanished. Aragon, 33, the diminutive mother-of-three was last seen at a family member’s home in Gilbert with her boyfriend Stephen Bishop July 20, 2005. The circumstances of Aragon’s disappearance have baffled cops, with one local detective saying “she literally disappeared into thin air.”
Cops did discover Aragon’s missing green Subaru, but soon after, the leads dried up. The past six years have been torturous for Aragon’s family who, more than anything, just want closure at this point. Stacy’s sister-in-law Nikki Askren speaks of the unending grief that Stacy’s disappearance has caused the family: "Her sons
need to know that their mom didn’t just walk out and leave them.
“It's not even a matter of justice anymore we just want to get her home and buried and have a memorial service and a place where her family can grieve,” Askren said.
